EPA Proposes New Mercury TSCA Reporting Requirement

US EPA last week proposed a reporting requirement for persons who manufacture or import mercury and mercury-added products. The information EPA collects will help the Agency make recommendations to further reduce mercury use in the US.

US EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt on October 10 signed a proposed Rule to repeal the Clean Power Plan, a 2015 EPA rulemaking that set state-specific, rate-based limits on greenhouse gases emitted from electricity generating units, or EGUs (i.e., power plants).
