What's New for TRI Reports Due July 1?
Required under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) regulations, TRI reporting is required from facilities in certain industry groups that manufactured, imported, processed, or used large volumes of listed chemical substances in 2021.

New Near-zero Health Advisories for PFAS in Water
On June 15, 2022, EPA released drinking water health advisories for four per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). The advisories illustrate the level of drinking water contamination below which adverse health effects are not likely to occur.

Can I Use the ORM-D and Limited Quantity Markings Together?
Although the ORM-D designation was phased out on January 1, 2021, many shippers still wonder how to move forward. PHMSA recently responded one question: does the ORM-D marking have to be removed entirely from a package label or can it appear in addition to the required limited quantity marking?
