Lithium-Ion Battery Creators Awarded Nobel Prize in Chemistry
Although the lithium-ion battery is just about 30 years old, it has “created the right conditions for a wireless and fossil fuel-free society, and so brought the greatest benefit to humankind,” according to the Nobel committee. For these reasons, the 2019 Nobel Prize in chemistry was awarded to the creators of the lithium-ion battery.

PHMSA Proposes HM 215-O to Harmonize 49 CFR with International Hazmat Requirements
Updates in the proposed rule will incorporate recent amendments to international regulation and consensus standards into 49 CFR and make changes to nearly every part of the hazmat rules, including Proper Shipping Names, hazard classes, packing groups, special provisions, packaging authorizations, and quantity limits.

PHMSA Requests Input on 2020 Emergency Response Guide
