OSHA Fines NJ Landscaper $17K After Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Deaths
A landscaping company based in Cresskill, NJ has been fined $17,051 for allegedly exposing its employees to the hazards of carbon monoxide (CO) without the proper safety training, resulting in the deaths of two of its workers.

PHMSA Proposes 19 Updates to Hazmat Regulations
DOT’s Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) published a notice of proposed rulemaking on August 14, 2019 to make changes to the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) that will update, clarify, and provide relief from certain hazardous materials regulatory requirements.
