Course Details
This four-day training will help meet US DOT PHMSA's training mandate for hazmat employees at 49 CFR 172, Subpart H; IATA's "competency-based" hazmat training requirements at IATA DGR 1.5; and IMO's training mandate at IMDG Code 1.3.1.

  • IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR)
  • International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG Code)

Workshop Schedule 

Day 1: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Day 2: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Day 3: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Day 4: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Check-in begins one hour before start time (all four days). We administer a Certification Quiz at the end of the workshop. Complimentary coffee and pastries will be available each day. We break regularly throughout the day. Lunch is included on Days 2, 3, and 4.


Quiz & Certificate  

Each workshop ends with a Certification Quiz (3 total). Students may use all training materials and resources provided to complete the quiz. Lion issues Certificates at the workshop, following successful completion of the quiz.
