New Dates for Shipping Lithium Batteries Webinar

Posted on 2/25/2015 by Roger Marks

To help lithium battery shippers prepare for compliance with new US DOT (49 CFR) and IATA shipping regulations, Lion Technology today added two sessions of the popular Shipping Lithium Battery Webinar to its hazmat training schedule.

The webinar guides shippers through the latest regulations for shipping lithium batteries by ground (49 CFR), air (IATA), and vessel (IMO), including new DOT rules for ground shipments that take effect August 7, 2015.

Leading up to the August 7 deadline, Lion’s expert hazmat instructors will present the webinar live each month. All sessions run from 1-3 p.m. ET:

March 19
April 21
May 14 (new!)
June 16
July 16
