To help shippers protect employees and maintain full compliance with the latest hazmat transportation regulations, Lion Technology presents the Complete Multimodal Hazmat Shipper Certification Workshops in cities nationwide.

US DOT requires all hazmat employees to complete training within 90 days of hire and repeat hazmat training once every 3 years thereafter.

DOT Hazmat Ground Shipper Training

Failure to provide hazmat training for employees is now punishable by a $471 fine per employee, per day.

Led by an expert, full-time Lion instructor, the two-day 49 CFR hazmat shipper workshop, DOT Hazmat Ground Shipper Certification will help you keep your hazmat shipments in full compliance with the latest classification, packaging, marking, labeling, and documentation requirements for 2017-18.

In June, join us for DOT hazmat training in Cleveland, Houston, Dallas, Rochester, Pittsburgh, Detroit, and Cincinnati.

IATA DGR Air Shipper Training

Compliance with IATA’s 58th Edition Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) is mandatory as of January 1, 2017. Following the two-day ground shipper workshop, stay for one day of training on the 2017 IATA/ICAO air shipping requirements in Cleveland or Houston on June 8, Pittsburgh or Dallas on June 14, Detroit on June 21, and Cincinnati on June 22.   

IMDG Code Training for Ocean Shippers

Learn the latest unique IMDG Code rules for hazmat ocean shipments—including container stowage and segregation requirements, rules for marine pollutants, and more. A one-day workshop on the unique IMDG Code rules for dangerous goods ocean shippers comes to Cleveland and Houston on June 9, Pittsburgh and Dallas on June 15, Detroit on June 22 and Cincinnati on June 23.
