Hazmat Shipper Training (Lion.com/Hazmat)
The US Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) require training at least every three years for "hazmat employees," whose actions affect hazmat transportation safety (49 CFR 172.704). The IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations require training every 24 months for air shippers of dangerous goods. For vessel or ocean shippers, the IMDG Code regulations defer to US DOT's three-year re-training rule.
