FAA Fines Oklahoma Shipper $63K for Hazmat Violations
US FAA this week issued a press release to announce hazmat enforcement action against an Oklahoma shipper who allegedly offered a corrosive liquid product for air transport. When the shipment was discovered to be leaking at a UPS sorting facility in Austin, TX, workers reported the incident to FAA.6/2/2017
PHMSA and OSHA Prepare for UN GHS and Hazmat Meetings
To prepare for upcoming meetings at the UN, PHMSA and OSHA invite interested parties to attend public meetings on June 20 at the US Department of Transportation headquarters in Washington, D.C.
