WHO NEEDS DOT HAZMAT TRAINING?

US DOT requires hazmat training for all employees who can affect the safety of hazardous materials in transportation, called "hazmat employees." DOT hazmat training must cover specific topics laid out in the 49 CFR Hazardous Materials Regulations or HMR, and recurrent hazmat training is required once every three years. (49 CFR 172.704)

Lion - Quotes

"Lion's course was superior to others I have taken in the past. Very clear in the presentation and the examples helped to explain the content presented."

George Bersik

Hazardous Waste Professional

"Lion is my preferred trainer for hazmat and DOT."

Jim Jani

Environmental Coordinator

"This was the 1st instructor that has made the topic actually enjoyable and easy to follow and understand. Far better than the "other" training providers our company has attended!"

Lori Hardy

Process & Resource Administrator

"As always, Lion never disappoints"

Nobody likes to be rejected. When a receiving facility cannot accept a shipment of hazardous waste, the RCRA regulations lay out a specific procedure that must be followed. This guide covers what happens when a hazardous waste shipment gets rejected. Knowing what to expect will limit uncertainty and confusion, giving you more confidence to ship hazardous waste for proper treatment and disposal.
