EPA Adds PFHxS-Na to Toxics Release Inventory (TRI)

US EPA announced a Final Rule to add sodium perfluorohexanesulfonate (PFHxS-Na) to the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) this week. PFHxS-Na becomes one of more than 200 PFAS chemicals now subject to TRI reporting under 40 CFR Part 372.

Update: New Manifest Exemption for California Hazardous Waste Generators

California DTSC will accept public comments for an additional 15 days on a proposed exemption to the hazardous waste Manifest requirements for waste transported between contiguous properties owned or controlled by the same “person.”
