Update 03/04/25: US EPA is extending/re-opening the comment periods for two TSCA risk management actions—a Draft Scope for evaluating the risks of vinyl chloride and a proposed rule that creates worker protections for certain uses of PV29.

Petition Seeks Limits on State Pesticide Labeling Rules
Attorneys General from eleven states petitioned for a change to the FIFRA regulations that would prohibit states from imposing labeling standards for pesticides that are “inconsistent with EPA’s findings and conclusions” about the product's health risks.

An emergency hazardous waste rule in California requires hazardous waste generators and other "handlers" of hazardous waste to submit an Electronic Verification Questionnaire (eVQ) annually, with the first submissions already due by March 31, 2025.
