DOT Hazmat and RCRA Refresher Training

On March 6, Lion presents the RCRA Refresher Workshop. Renew your annual hazardous waste training certification and get up to speed on major changes in EPA’s Generator Improvements Rule. The Generator Improvements Rule takes effect in May 2017, and will change the way your site manages hazardous waste in major ways. Sign up here.

Join us on March 7 to meet DOT’s 3-year training mandate and learn the latest requirements for offering hazardous materials for highway transport in the US. This one-day workshop is only available at the Training Center in North Jersey, and sessions are limited in 2017.  Sign up here.

Save when you combine the DOT and RCRA training courses above.

IATA DGR Training for Air Shippers

Learn new rules and restrictions for DG air shipment sin the 2017 IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR)! To avoid rejection, customs delays, and costly fines and penalties, hazmat shippers must know how to use the international regulations for air and vessel shipments. On March 8, Lion presents the nationally-trusted Hazmat Air Shipper Certification Workshop to help DG air shippers meet IATA’s 2-year training mandate (IATA 1.5).

In April: Full DG Training to Ship Lithium Batteries

Finally, on April 12, Lion will present the newest addition to our workshop schedule, the Shipping Lithium Batteries Workshop. If you ship lithium-ion or lithium-metal batteries—in equipment, with equipment, or standalone—by ground, air, or vessel, this workshop provides full DG training on the rapidly changing requirements you must know to keep your packages in compliance.

The Shipping Lithium Batteries Workshop is ONLY available at the Training Center in Sparta. For information about the Shipping Lithium Batteries online course, click here.
